Guarnaschelli was a contestant in 2007's Farmers Market Battle, a segment of Food Network's Iron Chef America, where she had to face Cat Cora. In the years since, she's participated in the program as an guest judge and competed at The Next Iron Chef Season Four in 2011 where she was third. The contest ended in defeat on the final episode of Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. She was named sous-chef to Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian following the fourth series on The Next Iron Chef.
